Our Heritage
Every great institution begins with a vision. In 1875, pioneering Masons in the frontier town of Linkville (now Klamath Falls) first envisioned establishing a Masonic presence in Southern Oregon.
After initial challenges, their dream was renewed in 1879 with stronger foundations. Under the leadership of Alex P. McCarton and with sponsorship from Ashland Lodge #23, Klamath Lodge was officially chartered on June 15, 1880, becoming the 77th lodge in Oregon.
For over 140 years, we've been a cornerstone of the Klamath Falls community—a place where good men come together to better themselves and serve their community. Today, we continue that unbroken tradition.
